Studying in Dublin
Dublin, where students will study, is Ireland's largest city. It is a city of culture with museums, art galleries and fine historical buildings open to the public. Dublin is a university city proud of its many universities, independent colleges and other specialised institutes. The Irish are an exceptionally friendly and hospitable people who will make the stay memorable.

Accommodation
Students have a choice of various types of accommodation in RCSI or UCD.

  • Self-contained three or four bedroom apartments. Each bedroom is en-suite and each apartment offers the added convenience of a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer and kitchen equipment.
  • Single or double rooms with access to self-catering kitchen. Each room has its own en-suite facility and kitchen equipment are provided.
  • Alternatives to RCSIs or UCD's own accommodation include family accommodation and privately rented apartments and houses.

Every effort is made to ensure that students are accommodated in a friendly Irish environment.

Other Services
The Student Service department is responsible for co-ordinating a comprehensive range of services for students. Services you can expect are the student health service, counselling service, personal tutor system, student union, and a wide variety of social activities.

The campuses in RCSI and UCD are well serviced by many restaurants and well-stocked book shops. Other amenities include banks, photocopying service, launderette and post-office
