Class of 2019; UCD – PMC
One of the oldest awards to be offered for competition by the National University of Ireland (NUI), the Dr Henry Hutchinson Stewart Medical Scholarships & Prizes Award 2017 for 2nd Prize in Pathology was awarded to Mohammad Saifullah Abdul Annuar, Class of 2019 medical student at University College Dublin (UCD) and Penang Medical College (PMC).
Congratulations are in order, as Mohammad Saifullah receives a scholarship of €1,000 and a medal.
The Dr H H Stewart Medical Scholarships and Prizes are offered in a range of subject areas across Medicine, Nursing & Midwifery and the Health Sciences. These awards are based on examination results in the Faculties and Schools of Medicine and Nursing of the Constituent Universities, the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and St Angela’s College, Sligo. The examination results of students in overseas campuses in Bahrain and Penang are also included.
In some subjects, nominated students sit examinations, specially set in connection with these awards.
The recipients of the Medical Scholarships and Prizes will be determined by an Extern Examiner, appointed by NUI, in each subject, who will consider examination material of students nominated by the Principals/ Deans of Medicine / Nursing in the Constituent Universities, RCSI and St. Angela’s College, Sligo.
