Return of the Annual PMC Research Day!

16 March 2018 [UPDATED]

The Annual Penang Medical College Research Day returns in 2018.

This exciting event would showcase recent research activities by the academic staff and students of the College as well as our adjunct staff at Hospital Pulau Pinang and Hospital Seberang Jaya.

The Ultimate Research Day Challenge

A special event, “The Ultimate Research Day Challenge” will be introduced this year and students will have an opportunity to be part of a growing global research community.

The call for abstracts is now open for students and staff (full-time and adjunct) of Penang Medical College.

Prizes will be given for the best student oral and poster presentations.

You may still send in your abstracts using the Abstract Submission Form (Click here to download form) to Dr Tan May Loong (mltan@pmc.edu.my) on Research Day.

Distinguished Guest Lecture

Dato’ Dr Amar-Singh HSS is a Senior Consultant Paediatrician and heads both the Paediatric and Clinical Research departments at Ipoh Hospital. He has a long-standing interest in children in the community, disability, family self-help groups, NGOs, child abuse, adolescents, disadvantaged & marginalised children (especially Orang Asli). He is a strong advocate for the development of services for children and has actively used research to transform healthcare by introducing a number of national programmes for children.
