Developing a Protocol for a Cochrane Systematic Review – Penang, Malaysia
7 – 9 November 2017
Penang Medical College, Penang, Malaysia
This 3-day workshop on Developing a Protocol for a Cochrane Systematic Review is for individuals that are in the process of or are considering authoring a Cochrane systematic review. It is most suited to authors who already have a registered title, but authors who have not yet identified a title will also benefit from the course and will be given assistance to develop a title.
This is a three-day course. It begins with an introduction to the Cochrane Collaboration and a brief overview of the format of a protocol for a systematic review. A mixture of presentations and small group activities gives participants the opportunity to develop and refine their own protocols. This workshop also covers formulating clinical questions, locating studies, appraising risk of bias and writing the methods section of a protocol.
Please download this Registration Form 2017 – Developing a Protocol for a Cochrane Systematic Review, and fax the completed form to Ms Nila Pillai @ Fax: 04-2284285 by 24th October 2017. A place will be secured upon receipt of payment (or scanned or faxed copy of LPO).
