International Electives Term Placement

Introduction

PMC Electives are open to international medical students who are in their pre-final and final year applicants from universities that are recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC). An elective is a period where an international medical student joins PMC students in their clinical teaching rotations in Penang Hospital. It is not an internship or an apprenticeship. No clinical care responsibility is given to the student and students are not expected to do any procedures.

Elective postings are limited and are approved on a first-come-first-served basis. There is an administrative fee of Euro 150 charged for ALL applications effective 1st December 2016.
