THREE DAY TECHNICAL TEACHING COURSE
The Basic Surgical Skills Course is held
in Penang in Malaysia twice a year. It is run in Penang Medical

- Aimed at:
Surgical trainees who are starting Basic Training in their first year.
- Course Objectives:
To train participants in basic techniques for all types of surgery
- Course Content:
The emphasis of the course is on:-
- basic knot tying techniques
- suturing techniques
- percutaneous biopsies
- gastrointestinal/vascular anastomosis
- repair of nerve and tendons
- introduction to safe laparoscopy
- endoscopic procedures
- Closing Date:
One month (exactly) before course date commencement.
- Fee:
EURO 200.00 for Malaysians Nationals.
EURO 750.00 for Other Nationals
