PMC Crest
The crest of the College recognises the different elements involved in the training of medical professionals at PMC.
In the upper quadrants, it carries the crests of our partner Colleges: the harp of UCD and the lancet of RCSI.
At the centre of the logo is the rod of Asclepius (a serpent encircling a staff), an ancient symbol of the medical profession.
The Penang Bridge represents the College’s location in Penang.
Finally, the colours, too, reflect the partnership between Ireland (represented by the green) and Penang (represented by the state colours blue and yellow).
